Why Is Minecraft So Well-Liked?

By Joshua Johnston

Minecraft is a game available on the PC, iOS and Android mobile systems, Xbox 360 and has sold millions of copies world wide.. The game involves a player having to travel around large virtual environments to create different items with blocks. While you're navigating the environment and building items, you need to constantly be on the look out for hostile enemies that attack you on sight. Minecraft is becoming increasingly popular every month as more people start to realize how fun this game really is.

A Creative Experience

Minecraft allows anyone to be as creative as one wants. While the standard Survival and Adventure modes allow players to go on all kinds of missions and complete many objectives while trying to survive, Minecraft's Creative mode allows people to create all types of different things with any tool they want and without taking any damage. Players can use this mode to construct large buildings and style other environments that can be shared with other players from round the world.

A Variety of Things

It's easy to get around Minecraft with a huge variety of various tools and surroundings. The number of landscapes in the game is particularly impressive. The game has dozens of blocks to play with. You can utilize the blocks in many ways due to their specific unique properties. Along with the blocks, there are also magical potions, and an enormous number of weapons, building tools, monsters, and trees throughout the game.

Fun Enemies

Unlike other games that get repetitive using the same types of enemies, this game offers players a wide variety of enemies to encounter. While it's fun to play with each other, it can also be fun to take on different Mobs inside the game. These include the Endermen, Wither Skeletons, Zombies, Spiders, Cave Spiders and Blazes among many others.

Easy to Operate

The game easily runs on numerous devices because of its unique block-style interface. So far for mobile devices, Minecraft runs great on the Android, and iOS as well. With the PC version, it is able to run on any of the main operating systems. A player only needs 90 MB of space and 2 GB of RAM to run the game too. These system requirements are much less than what many other games require these days.

Easy to Share

Sharing things in Minecraft with other players is extremely easy. People can create many things to be used in Minecraft and share them in several forms. You may also create and share texture packs that change the appearance of the game with other people. Also, it is easy to share survival and adventure mode maps with others. And if that wasn't enough, players can customize their characters appearance by downloading a variety of custom skins. Players are free to download these skins from a variety of places.

New Features Always Come Up

Minecraft never gets boring since it is continually being updated with new things. New versions and updates of Minecraft are always being brought out with support for all sorts of new things including new maps, tools and other features. With the constantly growing player base, the game will continue to expand and become all the more popular as time goes on.
